A picture of my only adenium ...

Here is a picture of my adenium which flowered for the first time this summer, but had quite a lot of them for around two months. I brought this plant back from a trip to Malaysian Borneo five years ago.

I tried adding some drops of water to my strelitzia and took some pictures with a macro lens added to my Nikkon camera. Here is one of the shot: 

This flower is from my plumeria rubra, which I rooted three years ago. I have brought it back from Malaysia. The title background is the same plant.

Introduction

Hi everybody,

I am a tropical plants addict and I live in Switzerland. I grow a lot of them in my apartment and on my balcony during the warmer seasons. I grow some from seeds, from cuttings or seedlings which I bring back from travels to tropical countries (mainly Malaysia).

Another passion I have is photography and I love taking pictures of flowers, especially macro pictures.

This strelitzia reginae is the picture I took today; it is flowering for the first time after waiting for five years. (I planted the seed)
